Great to meet you!

I work with adult clients motivated to understand and find healthier ways to deal with their anxiety, depression, trauma and grief both in person and via teletherapy. I am a private practice Licensed Clinical Social Worker practicing at a Masters Level since 2009. I have a history of working with adults of all ages and walks of life in a variety of community and inpatient settings since starting Social Work employment in 1979.

My approach to therapy

I am a Certified EMDR clinician(trauma focused care). I will vary approaches used based on the needs of the clients I work with to help them reach their personal goals in counseling. You are in charge, I just facilitate your growth and understanding to help you to be the person you desire to be..

What you can expect from me

Most clients I have worked with have found they are more self confident in their ability to manage life stressors by the end of our time together. I am open to hearing your stories, and helping you find the best way to manage in your life that makes sense to you. Whatever your life experiences I believe we all have thoughts and emotions that impact our behavioral responses in common and you have more control than you think in how you choose to react to triggering situations.
