Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work and many years of experience supporting people through some of life’s most difficult transitions. My professional background includes hospice and medical social work, school social work, and working with older adults and families. These experiences have given me a broad perspective on how emotional well-being is connected to relationships, family, health, work, grief, and the challenges of everyday life.

I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, caregiver stress, and the emotional impact of illness, disability, and other major life changes. I especially enjoy working with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, isolated, or uncertain about what comes next.

My approach is compassionate, practical, and individualized. I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what you are experiencing without judgment, while also having support as you identify what matters most to you and begin making meaningful changes.

My goal is to create a comfortable, supportive space where you feel heard and respected. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy- we can begin wherever you are and work together from there.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative and conversational. I don't believe you need to have the right words, or even know exactly what you need, to begin. We'll start where you are, make sense of what's happening, and work together to identify practical steps toward the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We'll talk about what you're experiencing, what has been difficult lately, and what you hope might change through therapy. I'll ask questions about your background and current circumstances so I can better understand the bigger picture.

You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can be yourself and talk openly about what's going on. We'll work together to identify what feels most important to address and develop a plan that fits your needs and goals.

I know that starting therapy can feel intimidating, so we'll take it at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You don't have to tell me everything in the first session- we're beginning a process together.
