Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sarah! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who helps adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, identity concerns, and difficult life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling with past experiences, or finding yourself stuck in patterns that are difficult to change, my goal is to help you feel understood while finding a healthier way forward.

My background in community mental health has shaped my belief that therapy should be approachable, collaborative, and tailored to each person's unique experiences. I also have experience providing clinical supervision and bring training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR to my work. My style is affirming, down-to-earth, and supportive, and I strive to create a space where you can be yourself, explore challenges without judgment, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and focused on understanding the experiences that have shaped you. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable being yourself and actively involved in the process. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns while identifying what may be keeping you feeling stuck.

I draw from approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and trauma-focused techniques to tailor our work to your needs. Depending on your goals, we may focus on processing difficult experiences, managing anxiety or depression, improving emotional regulation, or building a stronger sense of self. My goal is to help you develop greater self-understanding, recognize your strengths, and create positive changes that carry into your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and talk about what brings you to therapy. We'll discuss what you've been experiencing, what feels most important right now, and what you'd like to gain from our work together. You don't need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin.

You can expect me to be genuine, affirming, and engaged throughout the process. I'll listen without judgment, ask thoughtful questions, and work alongside you to identify goals that feel meaningful and achievable. I believe therapy can be a place for honest conversations, personal growth, and even moments of humor when appropriate. My goal is for you to feel supported, empowered, and more confident navigating life's challenges.
