Great to meet you!
I believe deeply in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the possibility of post-traumatic growth. Grounded in Systems Theory and Attachment Theory, my approach integrates trauma-informed practices, Expressive Arts, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and mindfulness. I strive to create a collaborative space where healing, self-discovery, and meaningful change can unfold with both compassion and curiosity.
I have run from bullets, endured profound loss, and navigated deep betrayals. I am the mother of four brilliant, hilarious, and occasionally maddening children. Cultivating a life I love is one of my greatest passions, and I bring that same commitment to supporting children, teens, and adults in their own growth and healing. I create spaces where both the sacred and the irreverent are welcome, where laughter and grief, tenderness and truth can sit side by side.
Following my curiosity, I pursued training and experience in the Art4Healing® Method and A Window Between Worlds. I completed a 500-hour Yoga Teacher Certification and continued my studies with Judith Hanson Lasater to deepen my understanding of Restorative Yoga. Furthering my trauma-informed training, I completed Trauma-Sensitive Yoga certification and became a 40-hour Domestic Violence Counselor Advocate.
I specialize in supporting children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating parenting challenges, PTSD and complex trauma, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, neurodevelopmental differences (ADHD and autism), LGBTQ+ experiences, and the integration of faith and spirituality into the healing process.
