Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Sarah Simpkins, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Board Certified Art Therapist, with over 13 years of experience. I offer individual therapy for older teens and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, and stage of life challenges. I combine evidenced base practices with a creative and person centered approach to help you improve your emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is very person centered and focused on the individual needs of the person seeking therapy. Every session starts with an intake appointment to gather important information about the unique challenges and any health history that is important to treatment. Individual sessions are a combination of processing and skills you can actually take with you after sessions. In addition to traditional talk therapy, I am a Board Certified Art Therapist, and can engage clients in art based interventions.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that clients feel heard, empowered, supported and equipped to better manage the challenges and feelings they are experiencing in their lives.
