Great to meet you!

You may look like you’re holding it together on the outside, but inside it feels exhausting. Maybe your mind won’t slow down, your mood feels heavier than it used to, relationships feel harder than they should, or you’ve found yourself relying on substances or old coping patterns just to get through the day. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, grief, and substance use. Many of my clients are used to being “the strong one” for others, but are ready for a space where they can finally exhale, feel understood, and focus on themselves. My goal is to create a warm, honest, and supportive space where you do not have to pretend everything is fine. Together, we can work toward feeling more grounded, more in control, and more connected to the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

My approach is active, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed approaches to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and patterns — while also building practical tools you can use outside of session.

I believe therapy should feel human. That means showing up with honesty, curiosity, compassion, and zero judgment. Whether we are working through anxiety, painful past experiences, substance use, grief, relationship patterns, or day-to-day stress, we will move at a pace that feels supportive and realistic for you. My work is rooted in helping clients feel safe, empowered, and supported as they take meaningful steps toward change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming space where we will talk through what has been going on, what brought you to therapy, and what you are hoping will feel different. You do not need to have the perfect words or know exactly where to start. We will take things one step at a time. I may ask questions to better understand your experiences, symptoms, relationships, stressors, and goals, but the session will feel like a conversation — not an interrogation. Change does not require you to have everything figured out. It just takes a willingness to begin. When you are ready, I am here to walk alongside you.
