Great to meet you!

I have worked with many different issues and people over the last 10 years.

Currently I am focusing on working with patients who have OCD and anxiety disorders, I use ERP (Exposure Response Prevention) therapy designed specifically for anxiety/OCD.

This therapy (ERP) is considered the "gold standard" treatment for OCD due to its high effectiveness.

OCD can be very distressing and the intrusive thoughts and fears can feel unbearable. Know that thoughts are just thoughts they are not YOU.

My approach to therapy

I create a warm, inviting environment and I like to add humor because OCD is CRAZY you ARE NOT! We can make light of some of the crazy OCD thoughts and use humor as an outlet to take some of the seriousness OCD places on the thoughts it wants you to believe as facts. ERP is hard work AND it very effective treatment. I will be here to guide and support you.

What you can expect from me

OCD ALWAYS attacks the things we value the most in your life and tries to make you feel like you dont care or will say or do something that doesn't align with your values. Some examples that people can struggle with with OCD can be...concerns about harm coming to you or others you care about, health related concerns and many more.

We will continuously mesure your symptoms .. taking assessments to indicate the severity of your symptoms about every 3-4 weeks.
