Great to meet you!

I am licensed in Colorado with 6 years of professional work experience. My ideal clients are experiencing burnout in helping professions, diagnosed or suspected neurodivergent, or in life transitions. You know there's more out there, but are stuck in a routine of your own making that doesn’t match what you know is possible. My clients are highly intelligent, self aware, and marginalized people who have a history of trauma and have struggled with perfectionism and over-achieving their entire lives. You may people please, feel overly empathetic and drained by others’ problems and emotions, or wonder why others don’t notice the larger, systemic issues at work or in society that seem so obvious to you.

My approach to therapy

I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities depending on the person and circumstance, but typically favor a somatic approach. This means I believe that we hold unprocessed trauma in our physical bodies, so I will focus less on 'the story' and more on where you feel it in you body when unpleasant memories come up. Some people, especially those who have been through therapy before and are tired of sharing the same painful memories, really favor this approach.

What you can expect from me

Clients working with me can expect to do deep, attachment-based work in an atmosphere of unconditional love. As in any relationship based in love, sometimes this means respectfully challenging unhelpful coping strategies or limiting beliefs. It is important to me that clients leave our sessions feeling as if the change they desire is not only possible, but actively taking place.
