Great to meet you!

Hello, and thank you for stopping by! Whether you’re new to therapy or looking for a fresh start, I’m glad you’re here. I believe healing begins with feeling genuinely seen, heard, and understood. As a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado with training in EMDR, I provide a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences, process life’s challenges, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and my role is to walk alongside you as you explore your story, identify your strengths, and create meaningful change. Together, we’ll work to understand the experiences that have shaped you, build self-compassion, and develop tools to help you navigate challenges with greater confidence and clarity. Whether we meet virtually or in person, I strive to create a space where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, honoring both the growth and the difficult moments along the way.

My approach is person-centered and strength-based, drawing from evidence-based approaches including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, perfectionism, burnout, trauma, life transitions, identity exploration, and healing from emotionally critical or invalidating environments.

Many of the clients I work with are thoughtful, driven individuals who may feel overwhelmed by the expectations they place on themselves or who are struggling to reconnect with who they are beneath the pressure, stress, or experiences that have shaped them. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationship with yourself, and move toward a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I tailor therapy to each person's unique needs because no two people are the same. I believe you already possess the capacity for growth and healing—you may just need support reconnecting with that part of yourself. Together, we'll identify what's keeping you stuck, build practical skills when needed, and help you feel more grounded, authentic, and connected to your life.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other, build comfort and trust, and begin exploring what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your goals, what you hope to gain from our work together, and what you can expect from my approach. Whether we meet virtually or in person, my goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, heard, and understood.

Starting therapy can feel a little unfamiliar at first, and that’s completely normal. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a better sense of whether my approach feels like the right fit for you. I’m happy to answer any questions you have, share more about how I work, and if needed, help connect you with another provider who may better meet your needs.
