Great to meet you!

Hi! I have been working in mental health for 7 years. I received my masters in mental health counseling at the University of Massachusetts 2017. I have worked with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing addiction, gender dysphoria, anxiety, depression, and everyday stressors. I utilize CBT techniques, person centered interventions, and modalities such ACT, DBT, and motivational interviewing. I always strive to use empathy and validation to build the therapeutic relationship.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have a person-centered approach focused on the individual and their experiences. I utilize CBT, ACT, and DBT interventions to explore clients' needs and provide tools to manage symptoms. My method relies on building rapport, identifying goals for treatment, and working with the client to identify ways to meet their needs.

What you can expect from our first session

I work to create an open-minded and safe environment where clients can explore their experiences and learn new skills. I work to build confidence and insight in my clients and want them to leave the session feeling positive and safe. A client typically focuses on decreasing negative symptoms of anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues. In addition, I work with clients to build self-esteem and feelings of empowerment.
