Hello! My name is Sarah Titus and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York State! I have 8+ years of experience in mental health within different settings. I have vast training and experience working with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, work-related stressors, relationship stressors, and trauma.
I like to make clients feel as welcome and as safe as possible within my sessions. I am very open-minded and will always allow you to process your thoughts and feelings. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy, with training and experience in other types of therapy as well (DBT, CBT, Grief/Loss, Exposure Response Prevention, etc.)! I love to work with clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, and work/relationship-stressors as well!
I typically like to help clients learn coping skills, alternative ways of thinking, how to empower themselves, and building an appropriate support system! In the first session, I like to get to know what brings them to therapy, their personality, their history, and what their goals for therapy are!
