Great to meet you!

I’m Sarah, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through grief, life transitions, trauma, and emotional challenges. My practice focuses on helping people gain insight, build resilience, and move toward authentic and lasting change. I specialize in working with caregivers, those navigating complicated grief, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families.

My approach to therapy

My approach is holistic and client-centered, focusing on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being of each client. I integrate evidence-based practices like CBT and IPT with Somatic, Brainspotting and Mindfulness techniques to support healing and growth. I specialize in working with individuals navigating grief, life transitions, trauma, and challenges related to anxiety, depression, and identity. I create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful, lasting change. Sessions are available via telehealth, in-person in Burke, VA, and, in some cases, through home visits.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, safe, and confidential space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Our work together is collaborative and focused, helping you identify patterns, clarify your values, and move toward meaningful change. My goal is to empower you to build resilience, deepen self-acceptance, and navigate challenges with greater confidence and clarity. I believe in setting practical, attainable goals that reflect your unique needs and aspirations. Each session is a space for reflection, growth, and connection.
