Sarah Vita, LMFT integrates EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic Therapy to support teens and adults in healing and growth. As a certified yoga instructor, she blends mindfulness and body-based wisdom with psychotherapy to help clients process trauma, restore balance, and cultivate inner resilience.
My approach is holistic and rooted in the connection between mind and body. I help clients understand not only their thoughts and emotions, but how their nervous system and body hold past experiences. Through EMDR, IFS, and somatic therapy, we work gently with both cognition and felt experience to create lasting nervous system change. This allows healing to emerge from the inside out, not just through insight, but through deeper regulation, self-compassion, and embodied safety.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, compassionate space to share what brings you to therapy and what you’re hoping to heal or change. We’ll explore what safety and support feel like for you, and I’ll help you understand how your nervous system and inner parts have been working to protect you. I’ll also introduce how I use EMDR, IFS, and Somatic therapy so you have a sense of what our work together can look like. My intention is for you to leave feeling grounded, understood, and less alone in what you’re carrying.
