Great to meet you!

I help children, teens, parents and caregivers to develop a stronger sense of connection and confidence within themselves and with one another in order to overcome difficult things that happen to them like cancer or chronic illness in the family, transitions, trauma, a loved ones substance use or a death in the family. I have more than 10 years of experience supporting children, teens, parents and caregivers using a trauma informed clinical lens grounded in attachment theory and family systems.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I see therapy as a collaborative process between you and I or a youth, parent(s) and myself. Therapy requires work and it can also be fun. I use Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Play, Family systems and Solutions focused therapy techniques to increase people's awareness of their own thoughts, feelings, actions and the roles they play so that they can develop new skills and perspectives to make their life better. I hope to empower people to heal by reclaiming and telling their own story.

What you can expect from our first session

When you work with me, you can expect to leave feeling heard, supported and sometimes challenged in new ways. You will take away a new reading, resource or skill to practice that aligns with your goals and learning style after each session.
