Great to meet you!

I have been practicing since 2008 and bring over 17 years of experience helping people move through life’s difficult seasons with more clarity, strength, and self-trust. I grew up in Canada and later moved to Texas, where I completed my master’s in Counseling. Over the years, I have worked with clients navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, stuck in painful patterns, or unsure how to move forward. My goal is to offer a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported as we begin making sense of what is weighing on you and what healing could look like.

My approach to therapy

I work from a place of warmth and openness because every person’s story is different and deserves to be treated that way. There is no shame here - only honest, collaborative work that supports real change. My approach is practical and solution-oriented, but always grounded in compassion. I help clients work through anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship challenges, and major life changes by building tools that are realistic, useful, and truly yours to keep. Together, we identify patterns, strengthen coping skills, improve emotional awareness, and create a path forward that feels steady and manageable. My goal is not just to help you get through the hard stuff, but to help you feel more grounded, capable, and connected as you move through it.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really a conversation - a place to share what brought you in, what has been weighing on you, and what you hope life might look like on the other side of this season. Whether you are coming in for anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, relationship issues, or a major life transition, we will begin by getting a clearer picture of what is happening and what support would feel most helpful. There is no pressure to have all the answers right away. Together, we will get a sense of each other, begin identifying your goals, and start mapping out a path forward that actually fits you.
