Great to meet you!

Great to meet you!

I'm Sarai Gendriz, a dual board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC) with 7 years of combined experience in family and psychiatric care. I provide psychiatric medication management for adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and insomnia with appointments often available within the same week.

My approach is practical and evidence based: a clear diagnosis, a structured treatment plan, and close follow up to make sure your care is safe and working. I explain every option in plain language, so you always know what we are doing and why.

I work best with adults who want straightforward, reliable care and are ready to stay engaged in their treatment. My goal is real, lasting improvement in your focus, mood, and daily life.

What to expect: in our first visit we review your history, symptoms, and goals, and you leave with a clear plan and next steps. From there we meet regularly to track your progress and adjust as needed. You are not starting over each time, we build on every visit.

I see patients in person in Miami and via telehealth in Florida.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is practical and evidence based. I start with a thorough evaluation to reach a clear diagnosis, then build a structured treatment plan tailored to you. I explain every option in plain language, so you always understand what we are doing and why.

Care does not end after the first visit. We meet regularly to track your progress, and I adjust the plan as needed to keep you moving forward. My goal is real, lasting improvement in your focus, mood, and daily life, through consistent follow-up and a treatment relationship where you are an active partner.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we review your current concerns, history, and goals to get a clear understanding of your symptoms and how they affect your daily life.

We then discuss possible diagnoses and treatment options, including medication when appropriate, with clear explanations so you understand each step.

By the end of the visit, you will have a clear plan, next steps, and follow-up, with ongoing psychiatric monitoring to support your progress.
