Great to meet you!

I work with adults (18+) who are navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, self-esteem concerns, and the impact of cultural or family expectations. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or looking to better understand yourself, I strive to create a supportive, collaborative space where you can feel heard and empowered to make meaningful changes.

As someone who comes from a Hispanic, native Spanish-speaking family, I understand how culture, family dynamics, and personal values can influence the way we experience life's challenges. This perspective allows me to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds in a culturally responsive and respectful way.

Along with my clinical experience, I have worked in adult school and community college settings, supporting individuals as they developed life skills, navigated educational and career goals, and explored college and career pathways. I enjoy working with individuals who are seeking guidance with college and career exploration, whether they're deciding on their next steps, changing careers, or working toward personal and professional growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I strive to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I work closely with clients to help them manage anxiety, navigate life transitions, and especially support young adults facing identity, life direction, and personal growth challenges.

I take a holistic approach, meaning I consider all aspects of your life—emotional, cultural, spiritual, and relational. I am open to incorporating spirituality into sessions if that is important to you, and I always approach each client with cultural sensitivity and respect for their beliefs and values.

I believe therapy is a personal journey, and my role is to guide you toward finding your own inner peace and happiness. Together, we focus on helping you build insight, confidence, and the tools needed to create a life that feels authentic and aligned with who you are.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and understand what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, any symptoms or challenges you’re facing, and what you’re hoping to gain from this process.

I’ll also ask questions about different areas of your life, such as your background, family dynamics, cultural influences, and spirituality, to better understand your full story. I may ask several questions—not to overwhelm you—but to ensure I truly understand your needs and what has led you to seek support.

This first session is also an opportunity for both of us to see if we’re a good fit. I aim to create a space that is open, supportive, and free of judgment, where you feel safe to share at your own pace and begin your journey toward growth and healing.
