Great to meet you!

I am a counselor with a Master’s degree in Counseling from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). I completed my clinical internship at Family Service of El Paso, a nonprofit organization where I had the privilege of working with individuals, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds.

During my training, I gained experience supporting clients through a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship and family issues, life transitions, and more. I approach counseling with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a belief in each person’s capacity for growth and healing. Whether you're seeking support for personal challenges or relationship concerns, I aim to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and move toward positive change.

My approach to therapy

In my work, I draw from both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a person-centered approach. This means I help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while also providing a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and empowered. I believe therapy is most effective when it’s collaborative and tailored to your unique needs and goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered. My goal is to help you better understand yourself — your thoughts, emotions, and patterns — while also giving you practical tools to cope with challenges. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and a person-centered approach, I work collaboratively with you to identify your goals, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change in your life. Over time, many clients gain greater clarity, improved emotional regulation, healthier relationships, and increased confidence in navigating life’s ups and downs.
