Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Sari Freeman, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 3 years of experience in case management, administration, and clinical care. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, family challenges, identity exploration, women’s issues, and LGBTQ+–related concerns. My work also includes supporting people living with bipolar disorder and other life transitions. I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where you can feel heard, build on your strengths, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

Together, you and I will create a game-plan to achieve your goals. I believe that a counseling relationship is a team, and honesty, mutual respect, and humor can foster a strong client-counselor team. I primarily use CBT, DBT, solution-focused, with an emphasis on person-in-environment and strengths-based approaches.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, we will begin by getting to know each other and what has led you to this point in your life. We will take time to understand your story to foster a trusting relationship, highlighting your strengths along with what you are ready to begin to change in your life. We will collaborate to create both short-term and long-term goals, to assist in with both immediate and future support.
