Great to meet you!

A provider you can reach directly, by text. Personal responses to all messages within 24 - 48 hours, always. Evening and weekend hours available.

Thanks for reading this. I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner who works with clients ages 6 to 86 struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, borderline personality disorder, substance abuse and other issues. I help clients to find stability and reduce suffering.

Depression and anxiety can be logical responses to difficult life events. Many adults who experienced losses and traumas in childhood have never processed these events and continue to suffer their impacts.

(Please note that I am no longer taking on new therapy clients, I am only accepting new clients for medication management at this time.)

My approach to therapy

I see medications and therapy as working together to help people heal. I understand that many people have mixed feelings about medication and I respect all views. Side effects are a real concern, and should not be ignored. It is your quality of life; the choices should be yours too. When it comes to medications, I am a guide, not a dictator.

What you can expect from me

I respect the autonomy of the people I work with. I provide information, and help you to make the best decisions for you. I have training in Natural Medicine, and can offer these alternatives when someone is interested. I try to maintain an empathetic and nonjudgmental stance. I hope that clients take away a sense of empowerment and hope from our visits.

Please note that I do not give FMLA on the first visit, as it is intended for clients who require ongoing treatment for their issues. I'm happy to discuss it with you at the second or third visit. Also, please note that I do not prescribe Suboxone; if I find your case to be medically-risky I will not prescribe for you but will refer you to be seen by an in-person psychiatrist instead. If you have ever been told your case is medically high-risk then I will likely refer you to a higher level of care. Thanks.
