Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 37 years of experience in behavioral health and over 21 years in private practice, providing therapy for adults, older adults, couples, professionals, healthcare providers, and individuals in high-pressure or high-visibility careers, including actors, producers, musicians, public figures, and executives.

I specialize in anxiety, depression, stress management, ADHD, anger management, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, caregiver burnout, and major life transitions. I also work extensively with healthcare professionals, executives, and high-performing individuals managing intense responsibilities while trying to maintain balance in their personal and professional lives.

My background includes clinical therapy, crisis assessment, and executive leadership across hospitals, county behavioral health systems, and private practice, giving me a broad understanding of both personal struggles and complex life demands.

My approach is collaborative, direct, and solution-oriented. I believe therapy should provide clarity, practical tools, and meaningful progress. My goal is to help clients build resilience, strengthen relationships, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, affirming, empowering, direct, and personalized. I work to create a space where clients feel comfortable being honest, understood, and challenged when needed.

I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic insight-oriented work, depending on each client’s needs and goals.

Some clients need structure and coping tools for anxiety, depression, or stress. Others need deeper work around relationships, grief, trauma, identity, or major life transitions. Therapy should meet you where you are.

I focus on helping clients gain clarity, strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, and make meaningful changes that last beyond the session.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where they feel comfortable being open and honest. The first session is focused on understanding what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, personal history, and what you hope to gain from the process.

We will work together to identify your immediate concerns, clarify goals, and begin developing a practical path forward. Some clients come in with anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, or life transitions, while others may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted without knowing exactly why.

My approach is direct, collaborative, and solution-oriented. I want clients to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction for the work ahead.
