Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Sary (Sary/Ze). I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adolescents, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, identity exploration, chronic illness, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Much of my work focuses on supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals, people exploring gender identity, those healing from religious trauma or restrictive environments, and people navigating multicultural identities and experiences. I believe therapy can be a place to better understand yourself, reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been silenced, and create a life that feels more authentic and aligned with your values.

My approach to therapy

I work largely with people who are sensitive, nuanced and want to go deep, but also question the status quo and what is considered normal, including using psychoanalysis in a radically inclusive way as it should be, for everyone. My style is direct, highly engaged and warm and we will be curious together about your journey and what you want to do in work together. I believe in using all the tools that make this life workable and draw upon our collective and personal ancestries wisdoms to navigate this post modern world

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. You don't need to have everything figured out beforehand. We'll talk about your current concerns, your personal history, and what you hope will feel different in your life moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work ahead. Whether you're seeking support around identity, relationships, trauma, anxiety, chronic illness, or life transitions, we'll begin building a path toward greater clarity, resilience, self-acceptance, and connection. I invite you to schedule a free consultation to see if we're a good fit.
