Great to meet you!
Many people want more than just relief from stress—they want to feel healthier, more balanced, and more connected to their purpose. True healing often involves more than just addressing symptoms—it involves caring for the mind, body, and spirit as a whole. I work with individuals who want to improve their mental health while creating a more balanced and meaningful lifestyle.
My approach emphasizes whole-person wellness, recognizing the strong connection between mental health, physical health, and lifestyle habits. Together, we may explore ways to support emotional well-being through sustainable routines such as movement, nutrition, rest, self-care, and cultivating a growth mindset.
I earned my Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2009. I have over 25+ years of experience in counseling with specializations in healing from trauma and benefits of nutrition & mental health.
My professional experience includes work in a variety of settings, including refugee and immigrant foster care, community mental health, juvenile justice, private counseling practice, outpatient hospital care, and telehealth services. These experiences have shaped my appreciation for the many cultural, social, and life experiences that influence each person’s story.
I offer counseling in English or Spanish.
I also offer faith-integrated counseling from a Christian perspective for clients specifically seeking Christian counseling.
