Great to meet you!

As a Black female-identifying Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, I bring more than 18 years of experience working in social services with children, adolescents, and families, particularly within child welfare and foster care systems. I hold a Master of Science in Marriage & Family Therapy and a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Child and Adolescent Development. I specialize in working with:

  • Couples healing after betrayal, infidelity, and relationship disconnection
  • Transracial/Transcultural adoptees and their families.
  • Adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges
  • Individuals impacted by childhood trauma, family conflict, and generational patterns

My approach to therapy

My goal is to provide a culturally responsive, compassionate, and collaborative environment where you feel seen, supported, and empowered. Whether you're seeking to strengthen your relationship, heal from past experiences, or break generational cycles, we'll work together to help you move toward the life and relationships you desire.

What you can expect from me

Do you find yourself repeating the same relationship patterns or feeling stuck in cycles of anxiety, conflict, or emotional pain? Are you and your partner having the same arguments without resolution, or trying to rebuild your relationship after betrayal? Therapy can provide a safe space to understand these patterns, heal from past wounds, and create healthier ways of relating to yourself and others.

Using a trauma-informed family systems approach, I help clients understand how their family of origin, attachment experiences, and life events continue to influence present-day relationships. Together, we'll identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen communication, and build meaningful, lasting change.
