Great to meet you!

I specialize in working with individuals navigating Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), personality disorders, trauma, and the unique stressors faced by first responders. I also enjoy supporting clients through major life transitions, including shifts in identity, relationships, and belief systems.

I am thoughtful about diagnosis and do not rush to label or pathologize clients. Instead, I focus on understanding the full picture of what you’re experiencing and creating a treatment plan that feels relevant, practical, and aligned with your goals.

I strive to provide an open-minded, culturally responsive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic space. I welcome conversations around diverse relationship structures, including ethical non-monogamy (ENM), as well as faith transitions, spiritual exploration, and deconstruction.

Whether you are managing anxiety, healing from trauma, navigating motherhood or identity changes, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can be a place to better understand yourself and create meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach is eclectic and integrative, drawing from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). This allows me to adapt treatment based on what is most effective and meaningful for each client.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to feel conversational, supportive, and focused on understanding what brings them to therapy. My priority is creating a space where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace without pressure to tell your entire life story in one session.

During our first meeting, we will explore your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, and goals for therapy. I’ll ask questions to better understand patterns you may be experiencing while also giving you space to share what feels most important to you. This session is also an opportunity for you to get a feel for my style and determine whether we are a good fit.

Together, we will begin identifying meaningful goals based on your unique needs, whether that includes reducing anxiety or intrusive thoughts, processing trauma, improving emotional regulation, strengthening relationships and boundaries, navigating postpartum or parenting challenges, or building a stronger sense of identity and self-trust.

I aim to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative environment where clients feel both supported and appropriately challenged. Therapy with me is not about “fixing” you, but about helping you better understand yourself, develop practical tools, process difficult experiences, and create sustainable change aligned with your values.
