Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) who believes therapy should be a safe, supportive space where you feel heard without judgment. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, stress, grief, life transitions, and perinatal/postpartum concerns. My approach is individualized and trauma-informed, using CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. Together, we’ll build practical coping skills, understand patterns, and work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space while helping you gain insight, build practical tools, and work toward meaningful change.

I draw from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care. Depending on your individual needs and goals, we may explore patterns and experiences that are impacting your well-being, develop healthier coping strategies, challenge unhelpful thoughts, strengthen emotional regulation skills, and identify realistic steps toward the life you want.

I strive to balance creating space for you to process and be heard with providing practical strategies you can use outside of sessions. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all, so we will work together to create an approach that feels supportive, comfortable, and meaningful for you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we can begin getting to know one another. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently experiencing, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

I’ll also take time to learn about your background, strengths, support system, and any experiences that may be impacting your well-being. You do not have to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—my goal is to meet you where you are and help you feel comfortable throughout the process.

Together, we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. By the end of our first session, I hope you leave with a better understanding of how therapy can support you and a sense of what we can work toward together.
