Great to meet you!

With a foundation rooted in empathy, compassion, and mindful presence, I offer a therapeutic space where individuals from all walks of life are welcomed with grace and dignity. My approach honors each client’s unique story, recognizing that healing begins when strengths are seen, affirmed, and gently nurtured.

I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Upper Iowa University in 2018 and began my career as a life coach, using a strengths‐based approach to help clients achieve meaningful goals. I also worked on a crisis hotline, where I developed skills in supporting individuals experiencing acute crises related to domestic violence and relationship trauma.

In 2022, I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Upper Iowa University. My experience across diverse settings—including a crisis hotline, an outpatient clinic within a mental health hospital, and private practice—has shaped my belief that support must be individualized and tailored to meet each person exactly where they are.

As a wife, mother, friend, and sister, my personal and professional experiences allow me to connect with individuals navigating life’s complexities. With a background in trauma recovery and anxiety management, I strive to provide a safe, steady space for healing and transformation. I’ve witnessed the profound impact of therapy, and I am committed to blending evidence‐based techniques with genuine empathy and compassion.

Together, we will explore your unique needs and work toward healing, clarity, and resilience. I’m honored to walk with you on this journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of accountability—not as pressure, but as a courageous act of self-trust. Through trauma‐informed care and emotionally attuned dialogue, I support clients in reclaiming agency, setting boundaries, and cultivating resilience. Whether navigating transitions, grief, identity exploration, or relational challenges, our work together is guided by curiosity, nonjudgment, and deep respect for lived experience.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my focus is on creating a space where you can breathe, settle in, and simply be yourself. You won’t need to have the “right words,” a perfect story, or a clear plan. I meet you exactly where you are — emotionally, mentally, and energetically — and we move at a pace that feels safe for you.

During this session, I’ll gently explore what brought you to therapy and what you’re hoping to gain from our work together. You can share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. My role is to listen with empathy, curiosity, and without judgment, helping you feel seen and understood.

We’ll talk about what’s been weighing on you, how it’s been showing up in your daily life, and what support looks like for you right now. I’ll also help you identify what safety, grounding, and emotional comfort mean for you so that our sessions become a place where you can process, reflect, and grow.
