Great to meet you!

I received my Bachelors of Science in Applied Psychology and Masters of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. I have over nine years of experience working with individuals dealing with myriad challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, life transitions, problematic substance use, work challenges and burnout, and chronic health problems.

My approach to therapy

I take a person-centered approach to therapy, meaning I believe that the individual is the expert on their life experience. It is my job, as a psychotherapist, to meet you there with unconditional positive acceptance. I believe that there is no “one size fits all” approach to counseling. Though my therapeutic framework is rooted in psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral therapy, I often work in interventions and techniques from other disciplines.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a warm, inviting, and safe space in therapy and view the work with clients as a collaborative effort. My goal as a psychotherapist is to help my clients expand their awareness around the difficulties they have experienced and are experiencing in their life. Throughout our time working together, my clients learn how to cope with challenges, large and small, so that they can become their most realized, fulfilled, and resilient selves.
