Great to meet you!

Savannah Bledsoe, MSN, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with nearly five years of experience working in psychiatry. I have been practicing as a nurse practitioner for the past three and a half years and have experience providing care in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings with children, adolescents, and adults.

I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University (ETSU) in 2022. Throughout my career, I have practiced in Tennessee, Iowa, and Virginia, which has allowed me to work with a wide variety of patient populations and treatment settings.

I have extensive experience working with teenagers and young adults, particularly those struggling with depression, anxiety, behavioral concerns, and mood disorders. I take a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care and strive to create an environment where patients feel comfortable, heard, and actively involved in their treatment.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based psychiatric care while helping patients develop the tools and strategies needed to improve their mental health and overall quality of life.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, my goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you in for care. We will spend time discussing your current concerns, symptoms, personal history, and any previous mental health treatment you may have received. I will also ask questions about your medical history, medications, lifestyle, and support system so I can get a complete picture of your overall well-being.

This first appointment is a collaborative conversation. I want you to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing what you feel is most important. Based on our discussion, we will work together to develop an initial treatment plan, which may include medication management, lifestyle strategies, or coordination with therapy or other services if appropriate.

My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood while we begin working toward improving your mental health and overall quality of life.
