Great to meet you!

If you’re used to being the one who has it together for everyone else, therapy can feel like unfamiliar territory. I work with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or tired of surface-level fixes and want to better understand what’s really going on underneath. My style is engaged, honest, and structured; I will meet you where you are while also helping you take active steps toward change. Therapy with me is collaborative and works best for clients who are ready to reflect, build insight, and practice new patterns between sessions.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, structured and focused on meaningful change. I integrate evidence-based methods like CBT with insight-oriented work to help you understand patterns and shift them in real life- not just in session. I’m engaged and direct while still supportive, and I tailor the work to your goals and pace. We’ll also have regular check-ins to make sure therapy is actually helping. We will look at what’s working, what’s not, and adjusting as needed so you’re getting real value from the process.

What you can expect from me

The first session is about getting oriented and making sure we’re a good fit. We’ll go over important information like confidentiality, policies, and how therapy works, and I’ll answer any questions you have so you feel clear and comfortable. From there, we’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’ll like to get out of therapy, and any relevant background to help guide our work. I know it can feel a little awkward talking to a stranger - especially on a screen- so we’ll tag it at a pace that feel manageable while still making meaningful progress.

By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer direction for our work and next steps.
