Great to meet you!

Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns they do not fully understand, or exhausted from carrying challenges on their own for too long. Whether you are navigating trauma, depression, ADHD, relationship difficulties, family conflict, or a major life transition, therapy can provide a space to slow down, gain clarity, and reconnect with yourself.

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in curiosity rather than judgment. Together, we will explore the experiences, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles while building practical tools to help you move forward. I believe meaningful change begins with greater self-awareness, and that healing happens when people feel seen, understood, and supported.

My goal is to create a space where you can show up authentically, make sense of your experiences, strengthen your coping skills, and develop a deeper sense of confidence in yourself and your relationships.

My approach to therapy

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, adults, and families gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the experiences that have shaped them. My work focuses on exploring the "why" behind thoughts, emotions, and behaviors so that growth feels intentional rather than temporary. Through a creative and experiential approach, I help clients move beyond simply talking about challenges and begin actively processing, understanding, and transforming the patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I also provide services in both English and Spanish, creating a welcoming space for a diverse range of clients and families.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to get to know you beyond the challenges that brought you to therapy. We will discuss your concerns, personal history, relationships, strengths, and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic process. You do not need to have everything figured out or know exactly where to begin—part of my role is helping you make sense of your experiences and identify what feels most important to address.

My style is collaborative, engaging, and supportive. I may incorporate reflection, metaphors, and practical exercises to help deepen insight and create meaningful connections between what you are experiencing and where you would like to go. Together, we will begin identifying goals, building self-awareness, and creating a path forward that feels realistic, authentic, and aligned with your values.

My hope is that you leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer sense of direction than when you arrived.
