Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and supported without judgment. My goal is to help clients better understand themselves, recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop practical tools to create meaningful and lasting change.

My professional background includes experience in both clinical mental health and school-based settings, working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I hold graduate-level training in School Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, and Marriage and Family Therapy, which allows me to look beyond symptoms and consider the relationships, family dynamics, life experiences, and environments that shape who we are.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship and family concerns, self-esteem challenges, stress, emotional regulation difficulties, and other mental health concerns. I strive to create a genuine therapeutic relationship where you can show up as yourself while working toward the person and life you want to become.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I don’t believe therapy should look exactly the same for everyone. Together, we will explore what you are experiencing, identify patterns and underlying concerns, and determine what changes would be most meaningful to you.

I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused strategies, strengths-based interventions, mindfulness, and family systems perspectives. I also believe that understanding the “why” behind our thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships can be just as important as learning how to change them.

You can expect me to listen, support you, challenge you when appropriate, and help you develop practical strategies that extend beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what to say or having everything figured out.

We will talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, your personal and family history, your strengths, and what you would like to be different. We will also begin identifying goals for therapy and discussing how we can work together to reach them.

Most importantly, I want you to leave your first session feeling that you were heard and that there is a clear path forward. Therapy is a process, and we will move at a pace that allows you to feel supported while still making meaningful progress.
