Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor, committed to providing empathetic support and effective therapeutic solutions to individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges. Holding a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College, I bring 5 years of experience in helping clients navigate life's complexities.

Specializing in narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques, I empower clients to explore their personal stories and develop healthier coping mechanisms. Through a client-centered approach, I foster a safe and supportive environment that encourages growth, healing, and self-discovery.

I have worked extensively with a diverse clientele, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship dynamics. With a deep commitment to professional development, I continually seek to enhance my skills and knowledge to better serve clients and make a positive impact in the community.

Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy painting, outdoor activities, spending time with family and spending time with myself, further nurturing my passion for holistic well-being and connection to others. Whether guiding clients through transformative change or advocating for mental health awareness, I am dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey towards emotional resilience and well-being.

My approach to therapy

As a mental health counselor, my approach to therapy is client-centered and collaborative. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel heard and empowered. I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness to address each individual's unique needs. My goal is to help clients explore their personal stories, identify strengths, and develop practical coping strategies. Together, we work towards healing, growth, and fostering resilience for a more balanced and meaningful life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to gain clarity and insight into their emotional and mental well-being. Through our sessions, they will develop practical tools and coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, or other challenges. They will also learn to explore and reframe their personal stories, fostering a sense of empowerment and resilience. Ultimately, clients leave with greater self-awareness, increased confidence, and a supportive foundation for ongoing growth and emotional health.
