Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works primarily from a solution-focused perspective. My work is faith-based, informed by more than 20 years in church ministry before entering the therapeutic field. I have experience in marriage and family therapy, individual mental health therapy, and substance use therapy, and I’m also a certified marriage arbitrator.

My approach to therapy

I use Motivational Interviewing techniques in combination with Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. I engage openly with clients and strive to be as transparent as possible. Clients often describe me as down-to-earth and practical. I also take a holistic perspective, recognizing that mental health is connected to every aspect of a person’s life. Rather than separating these elements, I see them as woven together to form the whole person.

What you can expect from me

My first session is typically introductory. We spend time getting to know one another, identifying the client’s primary concerns, and exploring short- and long-term goals. We may begin therapeutic work, but we also focus on building a foundation of trust and mutual respect for future sessions.
