Great to meet you!

I bring many years of diverse life experience to my work as a therapist. Before entering the counseling field, I worked in the arts, the knitwear industry, and several other business environments, including healthcare. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for creativity, entrepreneurship, work-related stress, and the complexities of balancing personal and professional life. Having navigated multiple career paths myself, I understand what it feels like to reinvent yourself, adapt to change, and search for meaningful direction.

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, where I developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, client-centered care. My work is enriched by many cross-cultural encounters, both personally and professionally. I speak some Spanish and Hebrew, and I value the opportunity to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. I approach each person with curiosity and respect, recognizing that identity, culture, and lived experience shape how we move through the world.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, practical, and compassionate. I believe therapy should be both a place of deep exploration and a space for real-world skill building. Together, we’ll work to understand the underlying patterns contributing to your current challenges while also developing tools you can use immediately in your daily life. I tailor my approach to your needs, drawing from research-based modalities while honoring your unique personality and goals.

What you can expect from me

As early as the first session, I aim to provide techniques and strategies to help alleviate stress, depression, and anxiety. Whether through grounding exercises, cognitive reframing, mindfulness practices, or structured problem-solving tools, you will leave sessions with something tangible to practice between meetings. My goal is not only to help you gain insight, but to empower you with skills that support lasting emotional resilience and well-being.
