Scott Davis

My name is Scott Davis and I specialize in Sexual Addiction, Substance Use Disorder, Trauma, and Relationship issues. For over 18 years, I have worked in the field of mental health. I spent years as a therapist in treatment facilities and private practice hen, taking on leadership positions at some of the top facilities in the country, continuing my education, and expanding my skills as a therapist. My prior position was the Executive Director at Gentle Path and Willow house at The Meadows in Wickenburg Arizona. My belief is that trauma is an underlying issue in all addictive processes. Therefore, to recover means that both the Addiction and Trauma must be treated simultaneously I also believe the counseling process is a collaborative process requiring both client and counselor to work together.

Therapy is a collaborative process with the goal to identify the maladaptive coping mechanisms, trauma, and underlying issues. This will allow for true healing.

Clarity, is the main objective. To know why you do what you do and make decisions about whether you want to continue.
