Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Dr. Scott DeBerard, a licensed clinical psychologist (Ph.D.) in the State of Utah with over 30 years of experience. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, stress, trauma, health challenges, and major life transitions. My approach emphasizes authenticity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique life circumstances.

My approach to therapy

If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling more balanced and resilient, I would be honored to work with you. I provide client-centered, evidence-based care drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and problem-solving strategies to help you manage emotions, navigate change, and build lasting resilience.

What you can expect from me

Our first session focuses on creating a warm and supportive space for you to share your current circumstances and challenges. We’ll explore your goals and determine whether my approach and experience are a good fit for your needs. Together, we’ll identify specific treatment strategies and measurable goals to guide and track your progress.
