I am a LCSW with 13 years' experience helping patients/ clients with: new cancer/dementia diagnosis, end of life/grieving. I am certified in oncology-OSW-C. I work in the hospital setting directly with outpatient oncology practices and can assist with patients and their families.
My approach will be determined on the clients need. I can use active listening, CBT, and help normalize the fear associated with a new diagnosis of a life-threatening illness.
