Scott is a skilled and empathetic licensed independent clinical social worker (LICSW) with years of varied experiences ranging from inpatient psychiatric work, in-home community-based work, and outpatient therapy. He brings a direct and supportive approach to therapy through the comprehensive use of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and psychodynamic theory all with a trauma informed lens. Scott received his undergraduate degree in sociology and psychology from Rutgers University and his master's degree in clinical social work from Boston College.

My approach to therapy

Scott’s passion lies with working with individuals across the lifespan, from teens aged 15 and above to adolescents and adults. He specializes in addressing a spectrum of concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD/neurodivergence, trauma, life transitions, and relationship dynamics. Scott enjoys working with athletes of all ages and abilities to enhance mental and physical performance, as well as first responders who have experienced chronic trauma exposure.
