My approach to therapy

I have served as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for over 20 years. I am a Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP), Certified Complex PTSD & Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) & a Certified Arts and Healing Practitioner (UCLA); I utilize the following approaches:

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) • EMDR • Motivational Interviewing (MI) • Narrative Therapy • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

What you can expect from me

Therapy must be individualized by first assessing and clarifying your goals and values. Once these are identified, we will utilize proven interventions to address complex thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and collaboratively accomplish measurable progress toward the goals that will provide greater clarity, richness, and meaning in your life. I prepare for every session and will provide exercises and encourage activities to do to further your progress between sessions.
