Great to meet you!
“In addiction, we give up everything for one thing, but in recovery, we give up one thing for everything.”
I’m Scotty, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Addiction Counselor, born and raised in South Louisiana. I’ve spent most of my adult life working in the helping professions, and supporting people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives is work I care deeply about.
I earned my Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a focus on Behavioral Health and a minor in LGBTQ+ Studies, and later completed my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University, graduating with honors. I’m also an independently licensed addiction counselor and hold advanced credentials in alcohol and drug counseling.
I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults across a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. My goal is to offer a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space where you can show up as your full self. I believe healing begins when people feel seen, respected, and empowered to reconnect with their own strengths.
