Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Scotty Gilmore, LPC (he/him); I help gay men make relationships work.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Fort Worth, I provide virtual therapy to clients across Texas. My practice is dedicated to supporting gay men and the entire LGBTQIA+ community, offering affirming care to both individuals and couples. Whether you're navigating relationship challenges, dealing with anxiety or depression, or facing life’s everyday stresses, I’m here to help.

I strive to make therapy a welcoming and supportive space—one where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we can explore what’s holding you back, strengthen your connections, and create the fulfilling relationships and life you deserve.

Let’s get started—you don’t have to figure this out alone.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrated existential approach to therapy, meaning I focus on helping you find clarity, meaning, and direction in your life. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, or relationship challenges, I work with you to uncover underlying patterns, tap into your strengths, and shift perspectives toward a healthier, more fulfilling way of being.

I believe we all have an internal compass that guides us—even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. My role as a counselor isn’t to hand you answers but to walk alongside you as a fellow traveler, helping you reconnect with that inner wisdom. Together, we’ll explore what truly matters to you and create a path forward that aligns with your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, validated, and supported. I create a space where you can be yourself without judgment—where your experiences are met with understanding and insight. My approach is both pragmatic and compassionate, helping you not only process emotions but also find practical ways to navigate life’s challenges.

Many of my clients say I “get it,” and that’s important to me. Whether we’re exploring relationship struggles, identity questions, or just the everyday stress of being human, I’m here to help you make sense of it all and move forward in a way that feels right for you.
