Great to meet you!

I became a psychotherapist because I believe in the power of healing, self-awareness, and personal transformation. With an MA in Counseling Psychology from John F. Kennedy University, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and build a path toward fulfillment.

My background includes working in community mental health programs, where I have supported individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I approach therapy with cultural humility and a trauma-informed lens, ensuring that each client feels valued, understood, and supported in their unique experiences.

I am passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for diverse populations, including individuals from marginalized communities, young adults, and those navigating complex life experiences. My goal is to help clients cultivate self-compassion, confidence, and the tools they need to create lasting change.

You don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I’m here to support and empower you on your journey toward healing, growth, and achieving your goals.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I specialize in serving clients who are seeking support in navigating their mental health journey with a blend of trauma-informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic techniques. My approach is especially beneficial for individuals striving to cultivate a robust sense of self and enhance their functioning to enact significant transformations in their lives. By acknowledging cultural and systemic factors that contribute to clients' symptoms, I aim to empower them to reclaim agency over their narratives and work collaboratively toward their goals, fostering resilience and growth in the face of adversity.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope in our work together is that you'll come away with a renewed sense of self and identity that not only addresses the hardships and challenges you have endured, but also empowers you to affirm your sense of agency, and make your mark on the world.
