Great to meet you!

I'm a creative and dedicated clinician interested in exploring the full breadth of experience with each client — not just the presenting problem, but the unconscious patterns, embodied experiences, and relational history that give it shape.

I've worked considerably within the queer community to uncover and process shame. That work — and the belief that through psychodynamic and experiential exploration we can elicit deep-rooted change — sits at the center of my practice.

I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors on identity, LGBTQIA+ concerns, gender, men's issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and substance use. In my own life I stay grounded through creative projects, physical exercise, and outdoor adventures — and I find that perspective shapes how I show up for clients.

My approach to therapy

Often I draw from psychodynamic and experiential modalities, and I value exploration of the mind-body connection. I believe that through the work of uncovering unconscious patterns and attuning to our felt experiences, we can elicit deep-rooted change.

Somatic therapy helps us attend to what the body is holding — tension, sensation, and the physical residue of experience. Gestalt brings present-moment awareness and contact into the work. For couples, I'm trained in the Gottman Method, which addresses the specific communication cycles and emotional dynamics that drive disconnection. Trauma-Focused CBT offers a structured path when trauma needs more direct processing.

I value a humanistic perspective and work with clients to determine what approach to care they would find most fruitful — rather than applying a single framework to everyone.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is grounded and intentional. I'm not rushing toward an assessment or a diagnosis — I'm more interested in beginning to understand who you are and what brings you here.

We'll spend time with what feels most alive for you right now, and I'll ask questions that help me understand the fuller picture: your history, your relationships, and what you're hoping might be different. By the end, we'll have a sense of how we might work together and whether this feels like the right fit.
