Most of the work we do in session is practical. For trauma and PTSD, we look at the thoughts and beliefs that took root during hard experiences and test whether they hold up. When people realize that what they have been telling themselves is something they can change, that is often the turning point. For substance use and addiction, we examine patterns, find what drives them, and build more workable responses. I will not sugarcoat what the work takes, but I will be direct, honest, and steady with you throughout it. I specialize in Cognitive Processing Therapy and work with veterans, first responders, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, or addiction alongside trauma.
