Great to meet you!

My name is Sean Jackson and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), with a Master of Arts degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from Villanova University.

I have experience working with individuals struggling with anxiety, anger, depression, grief, OCD, PTSD, bipolar disorder, grief, life transitions and ADHD.

I utilize an eclectic, person-centered approach to therapy, drawing from various modalities, and I received training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy at the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in Bala Cynwood, PA.

My approach to therapy

I borrow heavily from the cognitive-behavioral therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy(CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), and Mindfulness-Based CBT.

My approach is warm, accepting, person-centered and solution-focused; tailored to your unique needs. Cognitive therapy can empower you to take control of-your thoughts (cognitions) while developing an understanding of the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

I create a warm, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment for our therapy sessions. Together, we will collaborate to set goals that reflect your values, aspirations, and personal strengths.
