Great to meet you!

I know in this post pandemic world it can be extremely stressful filled with anxiety and dread. It is always a good idea to have a friendly listening ear to help alleviate your feelings.

I bring with me 10+ years of clinical experience in cognitive behavioral, narrative, and talk therapies. In addition I work with clients who struggle with negative self talk and other anxiety disorders. I also work with traumatic issues such as survivors of physical and emotional abuse. I work with childhood trauma as well using the psychodynamic approach.

My approach to therapy

The model for practice is strengths based work where I meet the person where they are. I never ask what is wrong with you, I ask what is right with you. Using CBT, narrative approach and DBT I work with your strengths to help resolve your issues. In addition to all of these modalities, I employ the psychodynamic approach in working with childhood trauma.

What you can expect from me

My work deals with self empowerment. We already have the answers to our issues the work is together we will find that answer. In our first session, we will complete a simple assessment where I learn more about you and what brings you to therapy. We will always work collaboratively to formulate treatment goals.
