Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a licensed mental health counselor offering in person psychotherapy in South Deerfield and Telehealth throughout Massachusetts. After completing my degree in Mental Health Counseling with a Holistic specialization. I gained my clinical experience in a Partial Hospitalization and Psychiatric Day Treatment program where I worked with people struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar, addiction, ADHD, anger management, trauma, PTSD, and a wide array of many other mental health issues. I went on to work in Title I high schools as an Adjustment Counselor where I worked with many students who had learning and behavioral issues, addiction, and emotional struggles. Whether you are struggling with depression, ADHD, anxiety, mood swings, relationships, anger, addiction, or finding a sense of purpose and meaning in life, I believe I can help you find some skills, clarity, and insight to gain stability and clarity in your life.

My approach to therapy

You may be asking yourself, "Why am I stuck? Why can't I just do the things I need to do in life? What is my purpose?" I try to find what motivates you towards growth. This often involves identifying your values and what gives you a sense of meaning and purpose in life. We may explore how our beliefs about ourselves and the world shape how we show up in life. We can look at what beliefs are holding us back, why, and how we can outgrow those that hold us back from our greater potential. If you are struggling with relationships, we can look at where you learned patterns of relating to others and how to heal those patterns. We can look at healthy communication skills, feeling secure in relationships, and setting healthy boundaries. For those who struggle with low self-esteem, we can explore where feelings of low self-worth came from and start to heal and change old wounds to grow into a more confident sense of self. Some may wish to explore spirituality as a support to their recovery.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will identify what your primary concerns that you are seeking support for. After that I will want to get to know you, your background, any other areas of life that might be affecting those initial concerns that you are coming to therapy for. We can discuss what out sessions will look like and if it feels like a good fit, we can proceed from there.
