Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 18 years of experience helping adults manage anxiety, depression, anger, stress, and relationship challenges. I work especially well with men who feel overwhelmed, stuck, burned out, or frustrated and want practical tools—not just insight—to create real change.

Many clients come to therapy appearing high-functioning on the outside while struggling internally with stress, self-doubt, irritability, or emotional shutdown. My role is to help you slow things down, understand what’s driving those patterns, and build skills that work in everyday life.

My approach is structured, collaborative, and goal-oriented. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused strategies to help clients regulate emotions, improve communication, reduce stress, and rebuild confidence. Sessions are focused on meaningful forward progress—not endless venting.

I offer secure telehealth therapy throughout Arizona and work with adults experiencing anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, burnout, and emotional regulation difficulties.

My approach to therapy

I take an active, practical, and down-to-earth approach to therapy. Therapy should help create change outside of sessions—not just insight during them. We spend less time endlessly revisiting problems and more time identifying patterns, building skills, and finding strategies you can realistically use in daily life.

My style is collaborative, structured, and straightforward. I’ll support you, but I’ll also help you identify blind spots, challenge unhelpful patterns, and stay focused on goals that matter to you. Therapy shouldn’t feel rigid or impersonal, but it should feel purposeful.

Clients often appreciate having clear direction and practical tools they can use between sessions. We focus on emotional regulation, communication, confidence, stress management, and meaningful progress that feels realistic and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on helping you feel comfortable, understood, and clear about where to begin. There’s no pressure to have the “right words” or tell your entire life story in one meeting. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope will improve.

I’ll ask focused questions to better understand patterns, stressors, strengths, and what you’ve already tried. We’ll begin identifying goals and creating a clearer direction so therapy feels purposeful from the start. When appropriate, I may also offer practical feedback or tools you can begin using right away.

Most clients leave the first session feeling clearer, more grounded, and with a better sense of where they’re headed.
