Great to meet you!

If you're reading this, something may have felt heavy for a while, and reaching out probably took courage. You don't need to have it all figured out to start here. I'm a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who works with adults 18 and over with a variety of mental health disorders. I began my career as a psychiatric nurse, so sitting with people in their hardest moments feels like home to me. Outside of work, I'm often spending time with my family or working on my golf swing. Here, you'll never be rushed or reduced to a diagnosis, and we'll move at a pace that feels right to you.

My approach to therapy

I see my role as a partner, not just a prescriber. My approach is integrative: I combine evidence-based medication management with attention to sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, and daily routines, because they all shape how you feel. I use brief symptom questionnaires to track your progress over time, and I'm happy to coordinate with your therapist or primary care provider. I explain every method and recommendation in plain language during our sessions, so you always know what we're doing and why. Every decision, including medication, is made together, and we'll go at a pace that feels comfortable to you.

What you can expect from me

Mostly, a conversation. I'll ask what brought you in, what you've been feeling, and what you hope will change. We'll also talk through your health history and anything you've tried before. If medication might help, we'll talk about whether it's a good fit and what starting would look like, including benefits and side effects, and nothing is prescribed until you feel comfortable with the plan. You're welcome to ask me questions too. By the end, we'll have a clear sense of next steps, so you leave knowing what comes next.
